2017 Barolo Preve

This is my favorite Barolo of the bunch from Gianni Galgliardo, thanks to a mineral sharpness that props up and gives structure and texture to the fruit, all of which comes from Serralunga d'Alba. Many of these other expressions tasted quite similar, but the 2017 Barolo Lazzarito Vigna Preve stands apart. It is sharp and upright, giving you the sense it will last longer too. This is a very nice offering of 2,322 bottles.
