Tasting notes
Lurid ruby. Assertively perfumed dark berry and floral scents are complemented by suggestions of olive paste and five-spice powder. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and mulberry flavors that take a sweeter turn on the back half. The floral note comes back strong on a long, supple finish that leaves a suggestion of spicecake behind.

(made with 25% whole clusters): Lurid violet color. Smoke-accented scents of blueberry, licorice and olive are sharpened by a bright mineral quality. Silky, focused and appealingly sweet, with a light touch to its fresh dark berry, black pepper and violet pastille flavors. Gentle, slow-building tannins add gentle grip to the sappy finish, which strongly repeats the blue fruit note.
