Tasting notes
The 2018 Meursault À Mon Plaisir Clos du Haut Tesson has turned out beautifully, wafting from the glass with notes of pear, orange oil and white flowers complemented by hints of wheat toast, beeswax and struck match. Medium to full-bodied, ample and precise, with a succulent core of fruit, lively acids and a suave, seamless profile, it is already quite expressive.

East-facing site shared with Pierre Morey. Tank sample. Smoky and extremely mineral on the nose. Great intensity on nose and palate. Really ripe citrus, a touch of orange as well as lemon. Tight, juicy and yet rich too. Slightly chewy and creamy at the same time. Firm texture. (JH)
