2018 Meursault Santenots

The 2018 Meursault Santenots 1er Cru has a light cut grass and green apple bouquet that opens nicely with aeration, though it never quite slips into fifth gear. The palate is better, with a citrus lemon and orange zest entry and good tension, but it needs to deliver a little more weight and finesse on the finish. Still a pleasurable Meursault, however.
