The 2012 Corton Blanc Grand Cru comes from two parcels. It has a precise, minerally bouquet with touches of lime flower and mineral that unfolds in the glass. The palate is well balanced with good depth, well-judged acidity and a nonchalant, lilting mineral finish. Fine.

Subdued but lucid aromas of crushed stone, white peach, lemon and lime. Chewy with extract, displaying superb lemony lift to its pure crushed stone flavor. This exuberant, bracing wine really echoes on the aftertaste. Lovers of full-blown California chardonnays will swear this is from another grape variety.
