The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet le Trézin has a "cool", wet stone and undergrowth-tinged bouquet with flecks of white peach and Conference pear. This is nicely focused. The palate is well balanced, the 20% new oak neatly integrated, cohesive with a light nuttiness towards the detailed, if short, finish. Pretty, but short-term.

One of the domaine's emblematic cuvées, the 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Le Trézin wafts from the glass with notes of citrus oil, white flowers, buttery pastry and crisp stone fruits. Medium to full-bodied, its satiny attack segues into an ample core of fruit girdled by racy acids.
