Score 93/100 · Drink 2019-2024, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Dec 2018
The 2016 Las Uvas de la Ira follows the line started with 2015, but the year was already quite balanced and allowed for a more traditional vinification, with great complexity, length and potential. This is perhaps more complex and mineral than the 2017, showing more depth and aging potential, with chalky minerality on the palate. I also tasted the 2015 for comparison and the wine is remarkable in that it doesn't show any heat and is evolving very slowly. 16,000 bottles were produced and bottled in August 2017.
