1998 Barolo Parussi

Medium amber-edged red. Deep aromas of plum, redcurrant and game. Sweet, lush and smooth, with the gamey element carrying through in the mouth. Still a bit youthfully aggressive - or perhaps this simply has less extract than Fantino's other '98 Barolos. Finishes with fine, dusty, slightly dry tannins.
