Aromas of raspberries, spices and candied peel preface the 2018 Marsannay Cuvée Marie Ragonneau, a medium to full-bodied, ample and charming wine that's supple and open-knit, with a generous core of succulent fruit and a nicely defined finish.

Ripe, almost jammy strawberry and cranberry, but hasn’t lost too much acidity. Light, slightly chalky tannins and a moderate, strawberry finish. Well crafted but a bit simple. (TJ)
