Another terrific Fronsac, the 2019 Château Moulin Haut-Laroque has ripe black cherry and subtle cassis-like fruits as well as sappy herbs, truffle, and cedarwood. Beautiful on the palate as well, it's medium-bodied, has ripe, polished tannins, wonderful balance, and a great finish. Drink this terrific little gem over the coming decade.
The 2019 Moulin Haut-Laroque has a lovely nose of red cherries, licorice and mulberry fruit, all well defined and focused and the oak neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and generous yet delivering sufficient tension on the finish. Good pedigree here.
The 2019 Moulin Haut-Laroque is bold and sumptuous in the glass. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, sweet spice, licorice and new oak are all turned up. This flashy, extroverted Fronsac has a ton to offer.
