The 2019 Bourgogne Rouge has a pretty bouquet of black cherries and iodine aromas. The palate is candied on the entry, offering tart red fruit laced with orange peel, and packed with juicy summer fruit on the finish. Delicious.

Blend of old and new casks from AOC Bourgogne parcels east of Gevrey. Good savoury intense nose. Lots of structure. Serious wine. (JR)
