Tasting notes
The 2019 Felseneck GG is pure and fresh on the intense and complex, coolish and lemon-scented bouquet with mint and crushed slate aromas. Crystalline, saline and lush on the palate, this is a generous, enormously salivating and juicy Felseneck whose power and creaminess is lifted by its crystalline acidity and aromatic freshness. Impressive, tight and very long. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2022.

AP number 22 20. Rather subtle, 'stony' nose. Lots of juice and ripeness with fruit that spreads right across the palate. Fully ripe. Really rather a charmer – more mainstream than some wines from this estate. Neat and well constituted. Pungent finish. (JR)
Quite some funk, but the complex, white-currant, wild-berry and herb aromas are even stronger! Stunning concentration and vibrancy, the racy and mineral acidity whipping this along like a spinning top. Such purity at the super long finish. Drink or hold.
