Tasting Notes
The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques bursts with aromas of dark berries, peonies and orange zest, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless palate that's succulent and fine-boned, framed by sweet, powdery tannins.

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has a very pure bouquet with raspberry and wild strawberry fruit, a little riper and more generous than the Village. The medium-bodied palate has fine-grain tannins, a touch of allspice on the entry, and gentle grip, finishing with a touch of cumin. Very delicate and refined...yet could it have given me a bit more?
A fine mid purple. The nose has a fine deep raspberry to it, some energy but also refinement. Very good intensity in the middle of the mouth, a little bit jumbled up behind, and not quite the length. But pure clean and relatively intense.
