Tasting Notes
As usual, the 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is a touch deeper and more structured than the Clos du Château, exhibiting notes of sweet red berry compote and plums mingled with spices and vine smoke. Medium-bodied, supple and penetrating, with powdery tannins and a saline finish, it includes fruit from premiers crus Perrières and Etournelles Saint-Jacques.

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a well-defined bouquet: perfumed red fruit and subtle sous-bois scents percolating through with time. The medium-bodied palate has a slightly powdery entry. It offers more depth and grip than the Clos du Château, with a sprinkling of white pepper on the finish. Enjoy over the next 15 years.
Mid purple more depth, equally striking. This absolutely fills the mouth with the most beautiful cherries and raspberries, and just a very slightly dry finish which the fruit soon climbs over.
