Score 91-93/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024

The 2022 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is pretty, offering up aromas of sweet cherries, berries and plums mingled with notions of peonies and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, supple and charming, with a suave, seamless core of fruit that largely conceals its powdery structuring tannins, it will offer a broad drinking window.

Cask sample. Mid ruby. Red cherries, raspberries and pink floral notes on the nose. Grand-cru quality in the silky, textured palate of cherry and raspberry fruit coulis. Quiet and constant, unassuming but lovely elegant class. (MH)
