Apparently this is the first time winemaker Jérôme Flous has used stems in this wine (25%) and changed the barrels to Chassin. Cask sample. Mid cherry. Tangy and lifted with a light stemminess on the nose. Oak sweetness on the nose and a slight chocolate-thickness in the texture that suggests the oak influence. Chewy, a bit disjointed at the moment. But might have a longer life than some. (JH)
