Tasting notes
The 2021 Pinot Noir Zotovich Vineyard has fragrant scents of tangerine, pomegranate, rose petal and rooibos tea leaves with accents of woodsmoke and earth. The light-bodied palate features graphite-driven fruit framed by chalky tannins and shimmery acidity, and it has a latent finish. It deserves 3-5 years in bottle.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Zotovich Vineyard is one of the most ethereal wines in the range. Kirsch, dried red cherry fruit, orange peel, cinnamon and pine give the 2021 a bright upper register of aromatics. Delicate and sensual, the Zotovich is especially fine in 2021.
Mulled cherries, underbrush, funky herbs, and spring flower notes all emerge from the 2021 Pinot Noir Zotovich Vineyard, a wonderfully complex, marine-influenced, balanced 2021 that still brings beautiful fruit. Drink bottles over the coming 7-8 years.
1,450 cases made. Due for release September 2023. Light garnet, to the point that this could be mistaken for a rosé. Smells of raspberries and herbs. Silky flavours of raspberries, herbs, and the faint woody greenness of whole-cluster fermentation. Bright juicy acidity accompanies flavours of sour cherry and orange peel through a long finish. Extremely compelling and distinctive. (AY)
