Score 93/100 · Drink 2021-2038, Neal Martin, Aug 2021

The 1988 Montrachet Grand Cru is endowed with an impressive, detailed bouquet that delivers flinty, almost Chablis-like aromas that are exaggerated by aeration. The palate is very elegant and refined, pinned down by a fine thread of acidity and fanning out toward the somewhat conservative yet persistent finish. Excellent and probably best drunk soon.
