With aromas of plum, prune, spices and touches of graphite, licorice and menthol, the 2016 Vieux Château Saint André is medium to full-bodied on the palate. This beautiful wine also has bright and refined fruit with a very classic touch and an earthy character that perfectly suits it. Time will only improve it.

Jean-Claude Berrouet's home estate, wine made by his son Jeff Berrouet. An exceptionally consistent and impressive Montagne St Emilion, if you can find the 2016 vintage I strongly suggest getting hold of a bottle. It's still full of firm tannins and limestone juice, ready to drink and one to savour.
