Monopole. Mid-pale lemon. Thick apple and quince on the nose, lightened with zesty citrus. On the palate this is rich, with buttery flavours and texture but very refreshing, too. Long finish, with a fresh, driving acidity. (MH)

The 2021 Vougeot Le Clos de Prieuré has a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, with touches of undergrowth and cepes mushroom. The palate is medium-bodied with light but fine tannins, charming raspberry and wild strawberry fruit and a seamless finish. Very approachable and with a facile charm.
