Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2023-2033, Neal Martin, Dec 2020
The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin La Justice comes from 0.67 hectares of 50-year-old vines. It has a very intense nose of layers of red berry fruit, potpourri and orange blossom. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, quite firm and solid in the mouth, with good density on the finish. Maybe I would have liked more finesse and precision, but that might develop with time.
