Tasting notes
From the Contrada Porcaria. Cask sample. Almost a little opulent yet leesy on the nose. Pure, concentrated and succulent raspberry fruit with coating tannins. Long and focused. The most hedonistic of all the Passopisciaro 2015s, at least at this stage. (WS)

The 2015 Rosso Contrada P is more mature than expected yet still a pleasure to taste. It shows nuances of brown spice, tobacco and citrus peel on the nose. This is sleek with a pretty inner sweetness and crisp minerality that balances its ripe red berry fruits. Earth tones mix with hints of blood orange and spice as the 2015 finishes fresh and long with a raspberry sauce resonance. Drink this if you have it—the 2015 is nearing its peak.
