The 1964 Larcis Ducasse is truly remarkable. Dense, deep and powerful, the 1964 Larcis possesses exceptional depth and sheer concentration for a wine of its age. Intense black cherry, smoke, leather and licorice all flesh out in the glass. The aromatics are perhaps a bit more advanced than the palate, but I can't hold that against a wine that has aged so spectacularly well.
