Tasting notes
The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis du Champs is one of the more immediate, giving wines in the range of this chiseled vintage, revealing aromas of orange and peach mingled with white flowers and nutty reduction, followed by a medium-bodied, seamless and charming palate.

The 2021 Chassagne Montrachet La Concis de Champs has a fresh, crushed stone bouquet, well defined, that blind I would guess comes from Puligny. The palate is simple but well balanced with orange pith and tangy Clementine. There is modest weight, though it doesn't quite kick on towards the finish. But overall, an enjoyable Chassagne.
Not frosted, yielding 40 hl/ha, registering just over 13% alcohol. More lemon than lime in colour, with a much riper bouquet, including some yellow fruit. This is more in the juicy style rather than chiselled with nonetheless a fine acidity behind. Slightly saline, the Concis des Champs certainly makes one salivate. Fine persistence, I like this more this year than sometimes in the past. In fact, this may be Olivier’s best Concis des Champs in bottle to date.
