2021 Chassagne Montrachet Goujonne Rouge
Buying options
Tasting notes
Fresh, bright and earthy aromas include those of mostly red cherry, raspberry and pepper. The racy, detailed and utterly delicious middleweight flavors possess solid depth and persistence on the youthfully austere and balanced finale that flashes only a touch of rusticity. (Drink starting 2027)

The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet La Goujonne is fleshy and perfumed, bursting with aromas of plums, red berries, spices and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, with powdery tannins and a succulent core of fruit, this is quite immediate out of the gates in a lighter, more fragrant register than recent sunny vintages.

The Lamys have been leasing this vineyard for over 70 years but sadly will be handing it back in another 4 years. The current vines were planted in 1950. 50% whole bunch vinification for La Goujonne. Cherry red with an attractive light fruit on the nose. Fresh light cherry-raspberry fruit.
