Score 90/100 · Drink 2022-2039, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Oct 2022

From the former owners of Phélan Ségur, the 2019 Ségur de Cabanac derives from a parcel opposite Meyney and another on gravel near the village cemetery—the two parcels together amounting to some five hectares. Delivering aromas of minty berries, loamy soil and toasty oak, it's medium to full-bodied, supple, seamless and perfumed, with a rich core of fruit and ripe structuring tannins.

Score 83-85/100 · Drink 2022-2026, Neal Martin, Jun 2020

The 2019 Ségur de Cabanac has a high toned red cherry and crushed strawberry bouquet. Not complex, but clean and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, missing some substance towards the finish that comes across a bit mean given the growing season.
