Drink 0-0, Neal Martin, Jan 2021

The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Sentiers 1er Cru feels a little muddled on the nose compared to the Morey Faconnières that preceded it. The palate opens with sour cherry and strawberry notes, though it does not convey the depth and complexity that a Sentiers can provide. I will defer judgement for now because I feel this sample is not representative.

Cask sample. Mid crimson. Red-cherry fruit with a rich undertow. This may well come right. At the moment it's a little forced. And a bit raw on the palate with a sudden finish. (JR)
