Tasting notes
The last vintage for a site that's due for replanting, the 2020 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Referts (Domaine Louis Jadot) wafts from the glass with aromas of freshly baked bread, buttered popcorn, citrus zest and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, taut and concentrated, it's chiseled and mineral, with tangy acids and a chalky finish.

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru showed just a touch of reduction on the nose, although there is clearly some wonderful vibrant fruit here. The palate is well balanced, quite refined in style, one of Jadot’s more understated white ‘20s with (again) some new oak to be subsumed on the finish. Very fine. Closure: Diam
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
