Tasting notes
The Brovia 2018 Barolo Garblèt Sue' reveals a fine texture with seamless aromas of purple and red forest fruits that appear delicately and softly. Those lifted primary notes are followed by a filigree of spice, tar, truffle and fragrant earth. The wine closes with a pretty floral note that is a mix of rose and violet. This is one of the most elegant wines of the vintage.

The 2018 Barolo Garblèt Sue' is a very hard wine to taste. It shows very little depth, a short, attenuated finish, little complexity and very few of the signatures of this Castiglione Falletto site.
Castiglione Falletto. Just mid crimson. Distinctive balsamic nose that is really holding back. Stony and brooding. Hints of marasca cherries. Slow to open up while suggesting quite a bit of power. Hints of fresh mint. Generous without being heavy. Succulent and concentrated and seductive and with a cool-climate edge. Seductive, long and with ripe chewy tannins. (WS)
