Tasting notes
The 2018 Marsannay Les Longeroies is very expressive on the nose with vibrant red berry fruit, crushed stone and violet. The palate is medium-bodied succulent ripe tannins, a little oak to be absorbed but fresh and persistent on the creamy textured finish.

Cask sample. Dark crimson. Doesn’t sing. But it’s solid and not too ripe! A little oak note. Still quite chewy. But I think it has the guts and freshness to stay the course. (JR)
The 2018 Marsannay Les Longeroies has a perfumed and quite floral bouquet whose violet-tinged red fruit reveals hints of blueberry with time in the glass. The palate is very harmonious, displaying chalky tannins, superb acidity and an almost citric freshness toward the tensile, lingering finish. An oyster shell note appears on the aftertaste. This is another superb Marsannay from Bruno Clair.
