The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village feels slightly bretty on the nose, the only one of Michel Gros’s crus to do so. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly coarse tannins and good acidity, but I find the finish rather hard and bitter compared to the superior Vosne-Romanée Village.
