The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes has a rather tightly wound bouquet that needs to open up. Maybe this is just in a dumb phase of its élevage. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy red fruit, moderate depth and a very smooth, easy-drinking finish. Not bad, but still not as good as the Pommard Vignots.
