Pale, bright, green-tinged yellow. An essence of fresh nectarine on the nose, lifted by a pungent soft citrus note, white pepper and white flowers. Then surprisingly thick yet weightless on the palate, offering lively flavors of stone fruits, jasmine and vanillin oak. Took on an oaky edge with air but finishes with lovely energy and cut. (Incidentally, Colin will not offer a 2017 Meursault Poruzots as the owner kept the fruit.)
