Lightish cherry red with pink rim. Spicy, senescent red fruit, on the cusp of maturity and still deliciously fruity on the nose. Dry tannic finesse. Fresh, elegant Pommard, long. (JH)

Bottled. Mid crimson. Inviting, gently stony red fruit. Juicy, supple and rather delicate for a Pommard, the tannins fine and dry, paper fine. (JH)

The 2017 Pommard Les Perrières offers lovely red cherry, cranberry and pomegranate scents on the nose, all well defined and quite intense for a village cru . The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit. A little earthiness surfaces towards the finish, which feels long and poised. This is a fine Pommard from Xavier Horiot.
