Hailing from vines that are more than 40 years old, the 2019 Sancerre Vieilles Vignes is ripe yet refined. On the mid-palate, it’s ample yet focused, knowing exactly who it is and where it is going. This shows lime, pineapple, golden kiwi and a whiff of smoke. It is tender and mouth-filling, which is likely a result of both limestone terroir and partial maturation in barrel. It finishes with purpose, direction and texture.
