Score 91/100 · Drink 2018-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2016

The 2014 La Commanderie has a very pure and well-defined bouquet with lifted, quite floral blueberry and blackberry fruit, some quality new oak in evidence. The palate is medium-bodied with firm structure, good grip in the mouth with superb structure. I like the authority here, a Cru Bourgeois that wears its Saint Estèphe heart on its sleeve. Recommended. Tasted September 2016.
