Score 88/100 · Drink 2020-2027, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2020
The 2017 Prelude a Grand-Puy Ducasse is fruity, open-knit and ready to go. I would prefer to drink this mid-weight Pauillac over the next few years, given its mid-weight structure and straightforward personality.

Grand Puy Ducasse
The 40 hectares of this Pauillac Fifth Growth are spread across three sites, pieced together in the 18th century by Pierre Ducasse. Today owned by France’s Crédit Agricole bank, they have some very fine vineyard land, with their northernmost plot neighbouring Mouton and Lafite.
