From a 0.95-ha plot at 300 m of elevation. Full-bodied Moulin-à-Vent. This feels like a more serious wine than the price suggests. Still youthful, with firm tannins. Dark-berry fruit on the palate, with a peppery finish. Distinctive 'crunch' of acidity. No hurry to drink this. (AWH)

The 2020 Moulin-à-Vent La Rochelle was showing quite a bit of reduction on the nose that made it difficult to read. The palate is smooth on the entry with dark berry fruit, a touch of salinity, cohesive with a smooth finish.
