The 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Longecourts was showing a bit of reduction on the nose. The palate is well balanced with a vibrant entry, enhanced by the 25% whole bunches, crisp acidity with a slight chalk texture towards the persistent finish. Good potential, but it will need time in bottle.

Vines in a hollow beneath the Les St-Georges vineyard. 20% whole clusters, 40% new oak. Cask sample. Mid ruby. Raspberry and black cherry give a darker fruit profile. Serious with quite a lot of punch. Well done. (MH)
