The 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a pure bouquet with white peach and orange blossom scents. A little linseed oil comes through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, a very subtle reduction, poised and quite persistent towards the spicy finish. This is a convincing Corton-Charlemagne that should age with style. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.

Attractive nerviness on the nose. And then a little fat on the palate. I’d like the nose of this and tension on the palate of the Dom de Montille, please. Chewy finish. (JR)
