Tasting notes
The 2020 Meursault Les Narvaux is showing just as well as it did immediately after bottling, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear and orange leaf mingled with hints of nutmeg, iodine and hazelnuts. Medium- to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with excellent concentration and tension, it concludes with a mouthwateringly mordant finish. As I wrote a few years ago, this can go head-to-head with the appellation's élite.

Cask sample. Showing its sample nature yet there is lots of finesse evident. Long flavour, orange zest, crystalline fruit on the palate. A fine Narvaux showing why this is a highly rated lieu-dit. Should be GV . (AWH)
The 2020 Meursault Les Narvaux has an attractive nose with white peach and a touch of albumen, nicely defined if not overly complex. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, quite strict on the entry, though it does not quite "kick on" towards the finish.
