Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2024-2040, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Champs Gains 1er Cru has an attractive nose: Granny Smiths, dandelion and crushed stone. Quite focused and elegant. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with a dab of stem ginger, dried peach and grapefruit towards the harmonious finish. Lovely.
