Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,250 g. From west of St-Estèphe and continuously managed in female hands, currently those of Bérangère Tesseron. Mature ruby colour. Fully evolved but still lively with a good core of fruit and nicely balanced but acidity with the tannins fully resolved. Good current drinking and GV for those who appreciate maturity. (JR)

Delivering aromas of earthy plums, berries, cedar wood and loamy soil, the 2019 Larrivaux is medium-bodied, with lively acids, powdery tannins and a delicately herbal finish. It's a solid Haut-Médoc.
The 2019 Larrivaux has a lively bouquet of black fruit, and still that wilted rose petal scent, perhaps heightened in bottle. The saline palate is medium-bodied, fresh and nicely structured, with grainy tannins on the entry and a touch of salted licorice on the finish, which just feels a little tight at the moment. This is a fine Larrivaux that should age with style.
The 2019 Larrivaux is a very pretty, gracious wine. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, mint, blood orange and spice are all beautifully lifted. Silky, understated and classy to the core, Larrivaux is a winner in 2019.
