Medium red. Shy aromas of raspberry, black cherry, pepper and olive. Brooding but fairly broad flavors of leather and pepper. A bit raw initially but ultimately shows good sweetness for the vintage. Finishes with dusty, broad tannins and fresh acidity. Not especially gripping but should be pleasant to drink within a year or two.
