1993 Griotte Chambertin

Roty's 1993 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru is drinking beautifully, offering up pure aromas of sweet raspberries and cherries mingled with hints of spice and rose, followed by a medium to full-bodied, cool and crystalline palate, its deep core of fruit framed by largely melted tannins and lively acids. Still very youthful, this is one 1993 that has turned out very well, even if it surely demanded patience.
