Tasting notes
Bottled. Bright citrus with just a hint of struck match. Lovely gentle, toasty creaminess but it's the citrus intensity that shines. Lovely persistent and pure wine and a good price. (JH)

The 2017 Saint-Aubin Les Charmois 1er Cru has a very impressive bouquet of ample citrus fruit, Granny Smith apples and mineral aromas - more Puligny Premier Cru in style than Saint-Aubin. The well-balanced palate features an orange-zest- and grapefruit-infused entry, very well-judged acidity and impressive depth and length toward the finish. This is one of the best Les Charmois I have encountered this vintage. Bon vin!
The 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Charmois bursts with pretty aromas of green orchard fruit, fresh peaches and a light touch of smoky reduction. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and succulent, with an open-knit, fresh but sun-kissed profile.
