Score 89/100 · Drink 1993-2003, Robert Parker, Dec 1994

Gazin's 1992 is one of the vintage's most noteworthy wines. It displays an opaque deep ruby/purple color and a bold, penetrating, sweet nose of caramel, black-cherries, vanillin, and smoke. With ripe, medium to full-bodied, rich, concentrated flavors and a succulent texture, this is an impeccably well-made wine! Approachable now, it should improve for 3-4 years and last for a decade or more. Gazin has been making a strong comeback over recent years - readers take note. Bravo!
