Tasting notes
The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Bousselots 1er Cru has quite a medicinal, camphor-tinged bouquet that is nicely defined if still a bit oaky. The palate is full-bodied and continues the medicinal theme, delivering sweet cassis and black cherry fruit with a heady finish.

Scents of cassis, violets, black cherries and burning embers preface the 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots, a medium to full-bodied, supple and charming wine with a fleshy core of fruit, juicy acids and powdery structuring tannins, concluding with fine length. This is a promising effort.
Vanilla cream blends nicely with blackberry fruit – what textbooks say of NSG! Primary, of course, but there’s a decent weight of black fruit to balance the quite firm tannins. Attractively perfumed finish. (TJ)
