The 2021 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a heavy reduction on the nose that, in its way, is attractive (if you are into that style) although at the moment it does occlude the terroir expression. That said, I think it will disappear with bottle age. The palate is fresh and vibrant with lip-smacking salinity, edgy and almost flinty towards the finish that is one of the most tensile I encountered during the 2021 tastings. Brilliant. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
