Score 95/100 · Drink 2023-2030, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Nov 2023

Showing extra richness and beautiful fruit concentration, the Marisa Cuomo 2021 Costa d'Amalfi Furore Bianco Fiorduva opens slowly to reveal the intensity and elegance that has made this bottle an icon of the Amalfi Coast. There is sea salt, white peach and exotic fruit. It closes with a combination of zesty acidity and saffron spice. The blend is 40% Ripoli, 30% Fenile and 30% Ginestra, all fermented in oak. Production is 30,613 bottles.

The benchmark producer of the Costa d’Amalfi. A hint of tropical and stone fruits, but largely a textural pinion of saline pungency, savvy barrique work and dutiful freshness, towing fine length. A challenging year for much of the continent. More challenging in warmer parts, such as this. Poised, plump and immaculate, in context. Sustainable. Drink now.
